How To Stick To Your Detox

Eating clean and detoxifying your body can work wonders for your health and it can really energise you, leaving you feeling fresh and ready to tackle whatever the day has to throw at you - but, depending on how long you plan to do it for, it can require quite a lot of determination and motivation to ensure that you stick to your goals.

There are ways that you can help maximise your chances of success, however, so it’s worth taking the time to sit down and really think about how you’re going to stick to your detox before you begin, especially if you’ve never done one before.

If you are new to the detox idea, it might be worth just trying it for a couple of days, rather than committing to a month of clean eating and drinking, and then building up from there. Taking it slowly is certainly advisable!

Before you begin, make sure you get rid of temptation by clearing out the cupboards of anything that may get in the way of your motivation. Stock the fridge before you begin as well, so you have a constant source of healthy produce - lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, seeds, pulses and so on.

Staying hydrated is an absolute must, as well, so make sure you have a bottle of water chilling in the fridge at all times so you’re not caught short.

Remember that you’re detoxing, you’re not starving yourself! You are allowed to eat on a cleanse… it just needs to be the right kind of food. Eating smaller meals, rich in all the nutrients you need, will help to keep your blood sugar levels stable and will mean you’re not hungry, reaching for unhealthy convenient snacks.

And don’t forget to give our detoxifying beverage de-liver-ance a go at the same time. The formula in this delicious elixir can give your immune system a boost and aid with mental clarity, so why not try it today?
